JOB OPENING: Slide Attendant

JOB TITLE:   Slide Attendant

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school or college student or graduate of either

• Minimum 16 years of age

• Current American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certificate

• Complete mandatory facility training and testing

• Excellent physical condition and promote a healthy, fit lifestyle through appearance and actions  

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in some phase of aquatic operations preferred

• Possess above standard aquatics ability

• Perform/demonstrate the ability to perform First aid and CPR

KNOWLEDGE/DUTIES:

• Direct people in a courteous manner and have them follow your direction

• Always have safety in mind while inside the park and at post

• Work with swimmers/customers of all ages and communicate accordingly

• Maintain discipline, analyze questions asked by patrons, give thoughtful answers and make decisions based on all circumstances

• Carry out all duties asked by Head Lifeguard, Seasonal Manager and Water Park Director

• General working knowledge of the pool, slides and features within the park

• Knowledge of principles and practices of facility rules, policies and procedures

• Knowledge of first aid and CPR and willing and able to perform said action

• Set example of how others should act around the pool, on the slides and on park grounds

• Work together with the entire staff ensuring the park is cleaned, maintained and kept in good repair at all times
